President's Message

Alumni 2019

Dear BCJA & GAAA Alumni, Welcome home for the 113th celebration of our root school, Berean Christian Junior Academy and the trees, Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy! Thank you for trusting me to serve as your BCJA/GAAA Alumni Association President. Our team worked with enthusiasm to create a weekend of events that you would enjoy and remember with your friends and family.

On Thursday evening we had a FUNdraiser for BCJA in partnership with Sparkles Family Fun Center kicking off the celebration for the currently enrolled students at BCJA & GAAA. On last evening we held an official meeting on the campus to discuss business and fellowshipped with a Meal & Mixer; after which, we opened the Sabbath with the Alumnus and their families “old fashioned Westview Place style.”

Over the next 12 months, we will be planning an Alumni weekend for the year 2020 that we believe will be epic! Our First Annual Alumni Black Tie Gala will be the newest event for our 2020 homecoming! In preparation for the gala and fundraising efforts, we are currently working to:

1. Restructure the BCJA/GAAA Alumni Board of Directors – “The Berean 10.”

2. Secure our 501C3 nonprofit status to maintain accountability, transparency and accept tax deductible donations.

3. Create scholarships, assist with Capital Projects, and decrease the technological divide to ensure that our students receive the best education.

Feel free to reach out to me with your ideas, suggestions, and even your concerns as we work with the current administration toward the goal of establishing a spiritually enriching, academically solid, financially solvent, Berean Christian Junior Academy and Greater Atlanta Adventist Academy!

Remember, you are the roots that produce the trees, help us with your funds and faith as we nurture the next generation!

Best in everything, at all times,
